REVIEW
The photos are clear, book is well put to together...especially when vocabulary begins to "explode." My 22 months old has enjoyed this book for at least 5 months now.

Great Book
My daughter was 12 months when I bought this for her. She LOVES it. I took it on an airplane and we spent at least an hour looking at it. She loves to open and shut the flaps. If we have company over, she will go from person to person to look at the book with her. I have to hide it sometimes because she pulls on the flaps to hard when she is looking by herself and rips them on accident. This also goes good with Jane's Animal expedition.

Barney in Space
Published in Hardcover by Dodd Mead (October, 1981)
Authors: Margaret Goff Clark and Ted Lewin
Average review score:

great for kids
Although I'm currently in highschool, I still remember reading Barney in Space along with its prequel in my second grade classroom. Even back then I was a mini-geek and knew all of the school librarians by name. They knew me as the Barney kid, as I'd check this book out every other month. I would religiously read it multiple times from second grade when I first read it to the end of fifth grade when I graduated the school. My only disappoint was that the book was (and still is) out of print, so I couldn't have my own copy. This tale about a newly adopted orphan (a young boy named Barney) who must adjust to his new life has his work cut out when in the first book he met Tibbo, a boy from another planet. I won't give the first book away, but in Barney in Space (this book) Barney fears for Tibbo, who is stuck on a malfunctioning space ship, but has enough trouble himself when a crazy alien brainwashes Barney's friends/family and decides that Barney must be taken off Earth to the home planet. This story once kept me on the edge of my seat, and I now must leave this review to go see where I can buy a copy and 'relive my youth'.

The Baroness of Bow Street
Published in Paperback by E-Reads (June, 2002)
Author: Gail Clark
Average review score:

A Delightful Read!
Definately one of the most engrossing Regency novels it has ever been my pleasure to encounter! Dulcie Bligh, the dear Baroness, is a fascinating protagonist. With her ever-changing hair colours, her outrageous pets, and delight in amateur sleuthing, she keeps the action moving right along, pulling the reader with her. A must read for anyone who enjoys a love story AND a bit of a mystery, complete with a generous dollop of humour on the side.

Behold Leviathan
Published in Paperback by 1stBooks Library (November, 1999)
Author: Will Clark

SF author gives book two thumbs up
Review by Jeffrey A. Katt, a noted SF author

Behold Leviathan, an ambitious first novel by Will Clark, is both original and intriguing. Certain chapters are loosely autobiographical, bringing a realism to the tale and making the story even more interesting. The novel begins with SP4 Cleary, an army specialist formerly stationed at the White Sands Missile Range, testifying before Congress. Shortly thereafter Cleary develops a love interest with Nikki, who is much more than she initially appears. After that, well, you would have to read the book yourself to appreciate all the twists and turns that the author supplies. Like the proverbial onion, each chapter reveals another layer of the intricate tale, until the reader descends into world steeped in international intrigue, politics, religion, corruption, humor, love, and the darkly supernatural.

Clark uses his own personal knowledge of politics, engineering, and the military to lend credibility to the story, and he takes the reader on a fast-paced ride into a world most of us have not imagined ' except, perhaps, in stress-induced nightmares. Just when the reader thinks he knows where the story is going it turns in an entirely new direction. Only after finishing the book can the reader look back and clearly sort out which portions were pure fiction, and which are chillingly familiar ' and true. Additionally, the chapters are not strictly in chronological order, a technique I usually find to be quite annoying, but here it serves to make the story evolve in a more logical manner.

Behold Leviathan is one of the most unique and original books I have read in quite some time. From the sharply satirical to the forcefully blunt, the novel holds the reader's interest and forces him to reconsider the world around him. I look forward to future offerings from Mr. Clark.
